History
The History of Lord Shiva Temple
This is no ordinary Temple! One morning, AiR- Atman in Ravi got a vision to build a temple where a huge statue of Lord Shiva would stand, building Faith, Hope and Belief for generations to come. He was surprised because when this inspiration struck him, he had no money, land, and plan. All he had was this vision.
But AiR- Atman in Ravi and his father Vashi J. Melwani were completely convinced that the vision was, in fact, a message from God. They tried to make this vision come true. As if by magic, with the grace of God, they got a piece of land, arranged for the funds, and the Temple was soon a reality. With faith, all things are possible!
God exists!
God exists! God is a Power. God manifests as the world and everything in it. God is the Cause, we are just Effects!

The Mission of Shivoham Shiva Temple

The Journey Within
The Shivoham Shiva Temple is committed to guiding people towards the true goal of life : Self-Realization, God Realization, Moksh, Nirvana, Liberation and Enlightenment. Very few people in this world go on a search, a Talaash for the truth. Most people believe in God, but they don’t pursue to find out the truth behind God, life, and existence. The temple helps such Seekers or Jigyasus progress on the path of liberation. Instead of just performing Poojas that are not understood by people, the Temple Priests will share the true meaning of the Poojas with the seekers, which will help them to go forward on the path of liberation and Moksh. They could choose a Pooja for Moksh, Jivanmukta or Satchitananda, or they may choose a path, a Pooja for Viveka, Vairagya, or Mumukshutva.
