Maha Shivaratri
Shiva Temple became the Shivoham Shiva Temple. It symbolises the journey of a true Yogi from being a believer to a true seeker of the truth.
Transcend ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ and evolve to ‘Shivoham’ by realizing the true meaning of the Mantra ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ – ‘O Lord! I bow down to You in the form of Shiva,’ to ‘Shivoham’ – ‘Shiv Aham’ which literally means ‘I am Shiva.’ But actually it means, ‘I am nothing, Shiva is everything.’
Then, evolve from Faith in God, from praying in the temple, to Realizing God. This is Enlightenment. This is God-Realization. Realizing the Ultimate Truth that God is not God, God is SIP – the Supreme Immortal Power that is everywhere and in everything.
